ETI’s Executive Team to Host Regional Customer Forums – Coming Soon To A City Near You!

ATLANTA, GA – MAY 9, 2012 – Enhanced Telecommunications (d/b/a) ETI Software Solutions, Inc., (ETI) (www.etisoftware.com) is taking its show on the road, listening to customers to ensure that current and future products and services continue to meet their needs in the ever-evolving world of broadband service delivery. The first “road show” is scheduled for May 15 in Nashville, Tennessee.

“OTT video. TV Everywhere. Multi-screen platforms. Broadband technologies. These are all topics that we discuss everyday at ETI – and our customers do too,” said Robert Murrie, President and COO, ETI Software Solutions. “It’s time we sit down together, discuss the landscape and learn from each other.”

This initiative is part of ETI’s business philosophy of providing the best customer service in the industry. Chairman and CEO Pete Pifer founded ETI in 1992 with the belief that each customer is a partner. “Growing together with our customers by providing products that really work – products that solve problems with customer care systems, billing systems, new technology – this is what we are all about,” said Pifer. “Triad, our automated provisioning B/OSS solution, has over 70 pre-integrated interfaces and multiple advanced features because we listen to what our customers want, and then we provide it.”

The results of this core principle are evident:

100% (net promoter score) of ETI customers say they would recommend our B/OSS products and services (surveyed Q1 2012)

Over 98% of our customers retain ETI services through recurring support agreements

ETI celebrates its 20th year in business in September 2012, with nearly 100 customers across the United States and North America

“Input from our customers is vital as we plan our product suite roadmap,” said Murrie. “We appreciate their loyalty, their feedback and their dedication and we look forward to expressing this in person at future events.”

Built on Microsoft Great Plains suite, ETI’s énconcert delivers comprehensive billing and automated provisioning of triple play services over Kentucky EPB’s new fiber-to-the-home network.

ATLANTA, GA – MAY 2, 2012 – Enhanced Telecommunications (d/b/a) ETI Software Solutions, Inc., (ETI) (www.etisoftware.com), announces that Russellville, Kentucky EPB has deployed ETI Software Solutions, Inc.’s énconcert billing system for voice, video and data over its fiber network.

This comprehensive billing and operational software solution is seamlessly integrated to the Microsoft Great Plains software suite and supports all of Russellville EPB’s residential and commercial billing requirements. Built on ETI’s Linux-based Triad automated provisioning platform, énconcert generates work orders, manages customer premise equipment and provides instantaneous service activation of Russellville’s network, which includes Calix E Series (GPON and soon, Active E) and Minerva’s IPTV platform.

“Our goal is to provide the citizens of Russellville with state-of-the-art broadband services that were simply unavailable in our rural area,” said Larry Wilcutt, Superintendent of Russellville EPB. “With a greenfield fiber project, choosing the right technology and software vendors are paramount to its success,” he continued. “We selected ETI because of their expertise with fiber and the superior recommendations by other municipalities and utilities who have worked with them. Our deployment with ETI has been equally successful.”

Because énconcert is a scalable triple-play billing and provisioning solution that supports the industry’s largest inventory of technology interfaces, it saves Russellville from costly and slow integrations as technology evolves – effectively future-proofing the entire project. “Our investment will not only improve the quality of life in Russellville and surrounding areas, but will lay the foundation for commercial and residential growth,” said Wilcutt.

“ETI is proud to play a part in the growth of a community like Russellville,” said Pete Pifer, Chairman and CEO of ETI Software. “Our first priority is understanding the unique challenges our customers face and then meeting those needs in the most effective way possible.”

Telco IPTV operators such as NEP benefit from the new revenue stream local ad insertion provides

ATLANTA, GA – FEBRUARY 27, 2012 – Enhanced Telecommunications (d/b/a) ETI Software Solutions, Inc., (ETI) (www.etisoftware.com) announces that The North-Eastern Pennsylvania Telephone Company (NEP), located in Forest City, PA, has deployed ETI’s VideoDirect 6000 digital ad insertion platform, giving them an additional revenue stream by offering local digital ad insertion opportunities on their IPTV channels.

“The ability to generate revenue in an increasingly competitive environment to offset other headend and infrastructure costs is a primary objective for us,” explained Steven Tourje, President of NEP. “Prior success stories and customer testimonials convinced us that ETI had the right product and the know-how to help us achieve our goals. In addition, the on-site training was invaluable. ETI gave us the personalized service that helped us succeed.”

The VideoDirect 6000 ad insertion system is standards-based and includes traffic and billing, account management software, an integrated ad-scheduling system, a video library system, contract management, an invoicing component and robust video encoding software. VideoDirect provides a scalable, comprehensive end-to-end solution supporting all play-out needs over digital headend systems.

“Within the industry, ad insertion is becoming the “go to” model for telcos and utility companies looking to find new revenue streams and stay ahead of the competition,” said Pete Pifer, Chairman and CEO of ETI Software Solutions. “Forward-thinking service providers like NEP will surely grow their business by adopting the ad insertion model and VideoDirect 6000.”

Triad provisioning interface, Clearleap streaming services link to deliver on demand content to North Carolina’s Greenlight Cable

ATLANTA, GA – FEBRUARY 21, 2012 – Enhanced Telecommunications (d/b/a) ETI Software Solutions, Inc., (ETI) (www.etisoftware.com) has announced its integration with Clearleap’s cloud-based streaming services. The interface enables television service providers to create a fully operator-branded subscriber experience such as such as those offered by Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu by streaming content directly to connected set-tops, devices and TVs.

“The Triad-Clearleap integration gives telco video providers power to compete with third party streaming services by providing content over existing broadband networks and by leveraging the provisioning and billing through their existing Triad system,” said Pete Pifer, Chairman and CEO of ETI Software Solutions. “This quick and cost-effective integration is a win-win because the provider can give subscribers more viewing options without vastly increasing operating expense.”

The City of Wilson, North Carolina, will be the first deployment of the Triad-Clearleap interface. “Our Greenlight subscribers want to be able to enjoy on-demand video and streaming content” said Will Aycock, Broadband Operations Manager/ITS Manager for City of Wilson. “Not only does this interface open up a world of viewing possibilities to our subscribers, it keeps our CSR experience simple because it is automated through Triad.”

“ETI has an excellent reputation for delivering seamless integration across all major IPTV platforms,” said Clearleap CEO Braxton Jarratt. “Operators choosing the Triad provisioning and billing system with Clearleap streaming services can get into the on demand game at a low cost capital investment with nominal storage costs. This powerful combination also offers operators nearly endless content options via the cloud.”

“Two firms from Georgia are having a tremendous impact on the world of telecommunications,” noted Pifer. “When innovative companies like ETI and Clearleap work together, the result is a win for the service provider and the subscriber.”

Another joint customer of ETI and Calix benefits from automated, flow-through service activation

ATLANTA – FEBRUARY 14, 2012 – Enhanced Telecommunications (d/b/a) ETI Software Solutions, Inc., (ETI) (www.etisoftware.com), is proud to announce the deployment of the Triad – Calix E5 interface at Kentucky’s Brandenburg Telephone.

“We’ve relied on ETI for over 10 years to provision our Next Level system so when we decided to add the Calix E5, we knew who to call,” said Randall Bradley, Controller, Brandenburg Telephone. “Our own experience with ETI in the past assured me that our integration would be seamless and smooth – and it has been.” Brandenburg is using ETI’s Triad OSS application to provision Calix E5-121s for VDSL services. ETI is also working to extend the integration to also support ADSL.

The E5 integration joins prior interface deployments for the Calix E7, the Calix B-Series, C-Series and F-Series, proving that ETI is a leader in interoperability with Calix Unified Access platforms. “The fact that Triad offers out-of-the-box integration to Calix systems is a major benefit to service providers installing a fiber network,” said Pete Pifer, Chairman and CEO, ETI Software Solutions.

ETI is part of the Calix Compatible Program and an annual sponsor of the Calix Users Group Conference. “ETI’s level of expertise and knowledge of Calix systems is well known throughout the industry,” said Pifer. “The partnership between Calix and ETI shows how technology firms can work together to benefit the service provider, and help them to transform their business models through faster time-to-market, enhanced operational efficiencies, and a better customer experience.”

ETI sponsors officers who are “freezin’ for a reason” by jumping into icy Lake Lanier on February 18, 2012

ATLANTA, GA – February 9, 2012 – Ever feel like telling someone to go jump in a lake? Well, now you can – and it just may be a Gwinnett County police officer. Enhanced Telecommunications (d/b/a) ETI Software Solutions, Inc., (ETI) (www.etisoftware.com) is proud to sponsor Gwinnett County Police Officer Shane Kelly as he “takes the plunge” for Special Olympics of Georgia. Shane will join hundreds of law enforcement officers across Georgia and 250 local “plungers” who will jump into the cold waters of Lake Lanier to raise money for this worthy cause.

“The Polar Plunge is the largest fundraising effort benefiting Special Olympics,” said Kelly. ”Last year police officers and agencies across Georgia raised nearly $700,000 for children with intellectual disabilities, and we are aiming to raise even more this year.” The Polar Plunge is an official Law Enforcement Torch Run event.

Special Olympic athletes in Georgia total 23,078 this year and will compete in over 23 sports – all at no cost to the athlete or their family. “Giving these children the chance to develop physical fitness, to demonstrate the courage they all possess and to experience joy with the support of their friends and family – that’s what the Special Olympics provides,” said ETI’s Chairman and CEO, Pete Pifer. “We are thrilled to help raise money for this cause and be a part of such a worthwhile community event.”

The Polar Plunge is set for February 18, 2012 at LanierWorld at Sunset Cove. For more information or to get involved, contact the Special Olympics of Georgia Polar Plunge at www.PolarPlungeGA.com.

Industry’s oldest and 16th largest Cable MSO implements TriadTM for wide range of provisioning including High Speed Data, Telephony, Caller ID and VOD

ATLANTA, GA – NOVEMBER 15, 2011 – Enhanced Telecommunications’ (d/b/a) ETI Software Solutions, Inc., (ETI) (www.etisoftware.com) is proud to announce that Service Electric Cablevision (SECV) has deployed ETI’s flagship product, TriadTM integrating SECV’s billing and customer care solution (CSG) to multiple service delivery technologies, including: Cisco CNR, MediaFriends (formerly Integra5) and a third-party telephone services provisioning database. The debut of Triad at SECV has earned ETI rave reviews.

“The versatility that Triad provides gives SECV a simple and effective solution that provisions a host of network element integrations with the least amount of impact to our existing billing infrastructure,” said Mark Walter, Vice President of SECV. “Triad was the right choice because it is pre-integrated to multiple vendors and technologies which gives our CSRs the power to process orders without dual entry. One touch processing and provisioning improves operating efficiency and leads to more satisfied customers.”

SECV serves nearly 100,000 subscribers in Eastern and Central Pennsylvania and has a long history of telecommunication innovation. Its founder, John Walson, is credited as the founder of cable television. “Our selection of Triad dovetails with our pioneering spirit,” explains Walter. “Triad’s one-to-many application helps future-proof SECV, giving us versatility and reliability as we deploy cutting-edge technology. And as ETI’s premiere Cable MSO customer, we give them a standing ovation.”

Triad’s business-level API integrates with SECV’s back office systems and includes DOCSIS 2.0 and 3.0 CMTS and cable modem provisioning, caller ID application support, telephony database functions, high speed data provisioning and VOD purchase queries. Triad’s support for the world’s largest inventory of new technology interfaces for video, voice, data and access networks allows for rapid adoption of new network technologies while eliminating swivel-chair, dual-entry operations.

“ETI is proud to be partnered with SECV, and we applaud them for their longevity and success in a rapidly changing industry,” said Pete Pifer, Chairman and CEO, ETI Software Solutions. “As we take root into this market, our goal is to earn the same level of trust and confidence that our telco partners have placed in us over the last 20 years.”

“The applications are geared toward making the user experience better and more powerful,” said Pete Pifer, Chairman and CEO of ETI Software Solutions and TelcoTV panelist. “Service providers know the value of their customers and the more unique and convenient options they can offer them, the better.”

On-screen applications for Metaswitch allow subscribers to interact directly on their TV screen by using the remote control and include enhanced Caller ID, Caller ID History Log, On-Screen Visual Voicemail, and the “Click to Call Back” function. The first deployments of the on-screen telephony applications will be with ETI video partner Microsoft® Mediaroom™ with support for Minerva coming early next year.

The powerful user application Visual Voicemail allows viewers to access voicemail on-screen via the remote control. Triad delivers the details of the voicemail, the audio file, and a speech to text transcription (if available) so that subscribers can select the message to play through the TV speakers.

Another convenient subscriber service is remote DVR and mobile remote DVR, applications developed by ETI that allow Microsoft Mediaroom IPTV subscribers to remotely schedule and manage DVR recordings from any PC desktop browser. Multiple online features and simple navigation makes ETI’s remote DVR a better experience for the user.

The mobile version of Remote DVR provides a full featured RDVR experience on mobile devices. Deploying both the PC and mobile versions of ETI’s Remote DVR will allow subscribers to manage their DVR from any web-enabled device, including an iOS (iPhone), Android, Blackberry, or Windows Mobile device.

As active members in the Microsoft Mediaroom Application Developers Program, ETI has long been a leader in Mediaroom integrations and app development, with deployments at over 30 service providers and including products such as set-top box registration, on-screen caller ID and ETI’s pre-paid IPTV solution, TV Ticket.

“ETI is proud to offer subscriber-facing applications that enhance the user experience and lessen the churn factor,” PIfer said. “ETI will continue to listen to our customers and develop tools that they can use to maximum revenue.”

Triad™ first to support on-screen applications that bring telephone functionality to the TV screen, supporting enhanced caller ID, caller ID history log, visual voicemail and more

Metaswitch Forum 2011, Las Vegas, October 3, 2011 – Enhanced Telecommunications, Inc. (dba ETI Software Solutions) today announced that it has achieved another development milestone, extending the functionality of its B/OSS platform TriadTM to integrate innovative on-screen telephony applications.

Leveraging a robust integration and strong partnership with Metaswitch products, ETI augmented Triad’s provisioning capabilities of Metaswitch to support on-screen applications providing enhanced Caller ID, Caller ID History Log, On-Screen Visual Voicemail, Call Disposition functionality, and the “Click to Call Back,” function. Subscribers are now able to interact with these applications directly on their TV screen by using the remote control.

“Triad is already integrated with Metaswitch softswitches to provide touch-free, flow-through provisioning and line management,” said Pete Pifer, Chairman and CEO of ETI Software Solutions. “This gave Triad a solid foundation to expand support to these new features offered by Metaswitch,” he said.

Notable features include an enhanced caller ID screen pop that not only delivers incoming call notifications to the TV screen in real time, but also allows the user to intercept the call by using the TV remote control. The user can redirect the call to voicemail or a mobile device, or suspend caller ID interruptions during a program.

Another powerful user application is Visual Voicemail, which allows viewers to access voicemail on-screen via the remote control. Triad delivers the details of the voicemail, the audio file, and a speech to text transcription (if available) so that subscribers can select the message to play through the TV speakers.

“We’ve had a successful relationship with ETI for years, and the tight integration between our products has greatly benefited our joint customers,” said Ken Cavanaugh, director of business development for Metaswitch. “We are excited that ETI will be offering the enhanced on-screen applications that service providers need in order to stay competitive in this market.”

The first deployments of the on-screen telephony applications will be with ETI video partner Microsoft® Mediaroom™ with support for additional IPTV platforms coming later this year. For more information about Triad and ETI, please visit Metaswitch Forum Booth #515, call 800.332.1078 or visit www.etisoftware.com
