“Proactive service is the key to keeping customers happy and to running a network efficiently and profitably,” said Will Aycock, General Manager, Greenlight Community Broadband/City of Wilson. “Overture GIS has guided our FTTH network expansion, increased efficiency across all business units, and improved customer service satisfaction – helping us consistently maintain a churn rate of less than 2 percent. It’s been a game-changer for us.”

ETI leads the industry with over a dozen successful Mediaroom deployments

ATLANTA, GA – FEBRUARY 20, 2013: Enhanced Telecommunications, Inc. (dba ETI Software Solutions, www.etisoftware.com) is proud to announce that BVU Authority OptiNet has successfully deployed the Triad B/OSS integration software and suite of subscriber apps as part of its Microsoft Mediaroom-powered QuantumVu broadband entertainment service, reinforcing ETI’s position as the North American B/OSS Mediaroom integration leader.

“We were a satisfied CableBridge customer of ETI’s since our system launch in 2002,” said OptiNet CTO Mark Lane. “They were displaced through an integrated BSS/OSS conversion in 2009, but persisted in maintaining a great relationship with us afterwards. That revealed a great deal about their character as both a company and individuals to me, and we always knew their software and service was top-notch. When we were presented with the challenge of integrating Mediaroom, we had no doubt ETI would quickly deliver a feature rich and resilient solution; these guys really know their stuff.”

“We are absolutely thrilled to have BVU Authority as a customer again,” said Frank Gine, President of ETI Software Solutions. “It is a testament to our philosophy of maintaining good relationships and exceeding service providers’ needs as they evolve over time.”

In addition to integrating BVU’s CHR billing system to Mediaroom 2.0, ETI is providing BVU a suite of on-screen apps, designed to reduce customer churn. “ETI also integrates Mediaroom with our Metaswitch to provide subscriber-facing apps such as On-Screen Visual Voice Mail and Caller ID,” explained Lane. “These ‘sticky’ apps, in addition to RDVR, appeal to our subscribers for their convenience as well as their innovation.”

“Leading-edge companies like BVU continue to turn to ETI for our depth of knowledge about Mediaroom,” said Gine. “Our stronghold on this industry is because we have a proven track record of successful deployments, multiple technology integrations with a host of widely deployed billing solutions and a suite of world-class subscriber facing applications; it’s a powerful combination of software, experience and know-how.”

ETI is an active member of the Microsoft Mediaroom Applications Developers Program whose engineers are frequent panelists and guest speakers on Mediaroom-related topics.

ETI now offers video service providers an easy-to-implement solution to securely and quickly support Over-the-Top (OTT) streaming authentication and TV everywhere.

TELCOTV CONFERENCE & EXPO, LAS VEGAS – OCTOBER 24, 2012 – Enhanced Telecommunications, Inc. (dba ETI Software Solutions, www.etisoftware.com) is taking the lead in the race to provide subscriber authentication, registration and authorization by introducing TV.ID, a real-time platform to quickly and cost-effectively support OTT video services. The first deployment will be for long-time customer Cincinnati Bell.

A challenge faced by many video service providers is to deliver OTT content to their subscribers via mobile devices, tablets and laptops without costly integrations between their B/OSS and the content providers; TV.ID solves this challenge.

TV.ID provides cloud-based authentication services to content providers such as HBO, Fox, ESPN, Turner and many more. This real-time integration validates for the content provider that the subscriber is authorized to view their content delivered OTT.

With TV.ID customers have multiple options for accessing OTT content:

•	Native Login: Subscribers can navigate directly to the OTT website (HBO GO, Watch ESPN, NBCU, Fox News, etc.) and choose the service provider and log in.

•	TV.ID Custom Portal: It provides an OTT website branded with the service provider’s logo and color scheme. After login, subscribers can select from all available OTT content providers without logging in again.

Since supporting OTT services may require integration with existing subscriber portals, service providers can choose from three different models for granting access to subscribers:

•	Stand-alone: The login database is a stand-alone separate system that provides access only to TV.ID’s OTT content

•	Shared credentials: The login and password are shared with another system already in place at the service provider’s premise. Access to each application requires a separate login.

•	SSO: Single sign on, where the subscriber can log into TV.ID or any of the service providers other services and have access to all applications from the single login instance.

“Delivery of video services to non-set top devices is becoming an industry must-have. Our customers asked for a pre-integrated solution to support OTT services, and we delivered.” said Pete Pifer, Chairman and CEO of ETI Software Solutions. “The future for our TV.ID product is to provide registration and authorization to our customers who are in the position to deliver all video services to any device anywhere their customer wishes to view them.”

Metaswitch Forum 2012, Orlando, Fl, October 1, 2012: Enhanced Telecommunications, Inc. (dba ETI Software Solutions, www.etisoftware.com) has leveraged its strong relationship with Metaswitch to deploy a powerful customer-facing application, Visual Voicemail, within Hotwire Communications, operating the Microsoft Mediaroom IPTV platform. ETI has been invited to present the Visual Voicemail solution at the Metaswitch Forum 2012 in Orlando on Wednesday, October 3 at 2 pm.

The Visual Voicemail application allows a subscriber to use the remote control to access voicemail on the TV screen. Users can play and delete voicemails, and, if text transcription is available, view the entire text of the message on-screen while the audio plays. By using the remote control and the TV speakers, the Visual Voicemail solution essentially brings telephony applications to the TV set.

“Visual Voicemail is one of a suite of subscriber-facing applications that ETI has developed with technology companies such as Metaswitch,” said Frank Gine, President of ETI Software Solutions. “These types of enhanced on-screen applications are a growing part of ETI’s product universe and proof that our company has moved beyond provisioning.”

The telephony suite includes On-Screen Caller ID, Caller ID History Log, Call Disposition functionality, and “Click to Call Back.” Subscribers interface with these applications via the TV screen and set-top box remote control. Notable features include an enhanced caller ID screen pop that not only delivers incoming call notifications to the TV screen in real time, but also allows the user to intercept the call using the TV remote control. The user can redirect the call to voicemail or a mobile device, or suspend caller ID interruptions during a program.

“We are committed to fully leveraging our IPTV platform, Microsoft Mediaroom, to deliver a world class, best-of-breed video experience for Hotwire’s subscribers,” said Kristin Karp, President of Hotwire Communications. “ETI supports our goals because its products are market-ready. We can deliver robust subscriber applications quickly and maintain our competitive edge,” she said. “Hotwire will deploy the Visual Voicemail product to its customers in the first quarter of 2013.”

“ETI already has a tight integration with Metaswitch solutions to provide touch-free flow-through provisioning and line management from billing,” said Ken Cavanaugh, Director of Business Development for Metaswitch. “By expanding our partnership with ETI to include our telephony suite of applications, we are improving the offer to both Hotwire Communications and our joint customers.”

Successful conversion involving three different fiber technologies completed ahead of schedule

ATLANTA, GA – SEPTEMBER 24, 2012 – Enhanced Telecommunications’ (d/b/a) ETI Software Solutions, Inc. (ETI) (www.etisoftware.com) announced that Frontier Communications Corporation (NASDAQ: FTR) deployed ETI’s B/OSS solution, Triad, to support its fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) network in Frontier FiOS markets in Oregon, Washington, South Carolina and Fort Wayne, Indiana. Frontier, one of the nation’s largest communications service providers focused on rural America, serves nearly 4 million customers in 27 states.

“A cost-effective and on-time conversion of our Frontier FiOS customers to our legacy B/OSS systems was important for us and our customers,” said Jesse J. Ross, Manager, Information Technology for Frontier Communications. “Due to the multiple devices involved, we needed a solution to simplify integration, improve the customer experience and facilitate the roll-out of new services and technologies – and we needed it efficiently and fast,” he said. “Early on, ETI proved Triad was the answer.”

Triad took control of Frontier’s FTTH platforms provided by Motorola (AXS Vision) and Alcatel (GPON) and Frontier’s Motorola (DAC) and SeaChange (VOD) RF video technologies. “Over the last 15 years, we’ve amassed one of the richest inventories of OSS technology integrations available,” says Pete Pifer, ETI Software’s Chairman and CEO. “This project stayed under budget and on time because of ETI’s pre-integration of all major technologies that deliver FTTH, data, video and voice services.”

“It was important to Frontier to have all operations on one set of systems to simplify employee procedures, streamline processes and improve customer satisfaction,” said Ross. “ETI’s Triad has the unique ability to make diverse technologies from multiple vendors work in harmony with a service provider’s enterprise billing and customer care solution.”

ETI also added interfaces to support Tellabs (BPON) and the Juniper service router interface. Both were completed ahead of schedule and within budget – a testament to the expertise ETI consulting and engineering bring to complex projects.

ETI also implemented audit capabilities to both Alcatel and Motorola FTTH networks to identify mismatches between the billing data and the current provision state of the ONTs. “This streamlines our internal processes, makes us more efficient, closes revenue leaks and ensures our customer statements are accurate and services uninterrupted,” said Ross.

“Frontier Communications is a textbook example of a successful system conversion,” said Pifer. “By harnessing the power of Triad’s capabilities and embedding it in its architecture, Frontier will be able to rapidly integrate new services by supporting the technologies by which they are delivered. ETI is proud to be partnered with such an innovative and forward-thinking service provider.”
